KOTRA said it would devote 4 billion won of its budget this year to a comprehensive informatization project as part of its effort for managerial reform. Related to this, KOTRA designated POSDATA as a main contractor for the project at the end of last month and plans to select other contractors for supervision and database (DB) consulting this month, a KOTRA spokesman said. The comprehensive informatization project propelled by KOTRA calls for replacement of the existing systems such as Customer Relation Management (CRM) system and Groupware with an advanced package product, he said. Through this project, KOTRA hopes to provide Korean enterprises with improved information services, while actively supporting their exports to foreign countries this year.
