Seoul, Korea - A Facility Management System (FMS) software developed by a Korean SME is to be distributed worldwide, including the U.S. and Indonesia, through a globally recognized brand for the first time in Korea.
According to the industry on Tuesday, Solideo Systems is to sign an MOU to provide its software to Autodesk. Autodesk is planning to introduce Solideo’s software worldwide in July.
FMS, Code Checking System and Building Information Modeling server software are provided to Autodesk. Autodesk plans to launch products based on Solideo’s software through its global network. The right for product sales and brand will belong to Autodesk, and Solideo will keep the core original codes. Solideo has applied for patents in 10 countries for its software technology.
Solideo’s software is to be used in Indonesia also. A subsidiary of Telkom, the largest and government-owned telecommunication company in Indonesia, plans to use Smart iFMS of Solideo for the management of some 2,000 Telkom buildings. The MOU for provision of Solideo’s software is to be signed in this month, and if the FMS software is actually supplied to all 2,000 buildings, the size of order to Solideo will be at least KRW 300 billion.
Solideo Systems had participated in a research project on super-high rise complex buildings conducted in 2009 by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation (MOLIT) and tailored the FMS to the needs of super-high rises.

중소기업이 개발한 시설관리시스템(FMS) 소프트웨어(SW)가 글로벌 유명브랜드를 달고 미국과 인도네시아 등 전 세계에 공급된다. 국산 SW가 핵심 원천기술을 제공, 글로벌 유수 기업을 통해 해외에 판매하는 것은 이번이 처음이다.
16일 업계에 따르면 솔리데오시스템즈는 자체 개발한 FMS 등 SW를 미국 오토데스크에 공급하는 양해각서(MOU)를 교환한다. 오토데스크는 솔리데오시스템즈의 SW를 세계 여러 나라에 7월 출시할 계획이다.
오토데스크에 공급되는 SW는 FMS를 비롯해 코드체킹시스템, 빌딩정보모델링(BIM) 서버 SW이다. FMS는 빌딩 내 기계나 전기 등 각종 설비 관리를 자동화하는 SW다. 코드체킹시스템은 BIM 데이터를 다른 목적으로 활용할 때 품질관리를 위해 코드를 체크하는 시스템이다. BIM 서버는 BIM 데이터를 서버에 등록하고 다수의 관리자가 관리할 수 있도록 하는 SW다.
오토데스크는 솔리데오시스템즈의 SW 기반으로 제품을 출시하면 글로벌 네트워크를 통해 판매할 계획이다. 제품 판매와 브랜드는 오토데스크가, 핵심 원천기술은 솔리데오시스템즈가 갖게 된다. 솔리데오시스템즈는 오토데스크에 제공하는 SW 기술 대상으로 미국•일본•중국•유럽연합 등 10개국에 특허를 출원했다.
인도네시아에도 공급될 예정이다. 인도네시아 최대 국영 통신회사 텔콤의 자회사인 텔콤엑사스는 솔리데오시스템즈의 `스마트iFMS` SW를 공급 받아 자체 브랜드로 2000개에 이르는 텔콤 사옥에 적용하는 방안을 추진한다. 이달 중 솔리데오시스템즈와 텔콤엑사스는 FMS SW 협업 MOU를 교환한다. 2000개 빌딩에 모두 FMS SW를 공급하면 최소 3000억원 규모가 넘는다.
텔콤엑사스는 유선통신 시장의 한계를 극복하기 위해 솔리데오시스템즈의 FMS SW 기반으로 빌딩 정보화 시장에 진출한다. 지멘스 등 외산업체가 장악하는 인도네시아 빌딩 정보화 시장을 파고들겠다는 전략이다.
솔리데오시스템즈는 지난 2009년 착수한 국토교통부 초고층복합건물 연구 사업에 참여, 기존 FMS를 초고층복합건물에 맞게 고도화했다. 국토부 연구개발은 6년 사업으로 4년차를 완료하고 적용단계를 진행한다. SW업계 한 관계자는 “솔리데오시스템즈의 해외 공급이 확정되면 국내 SW 기술이 세계에서 인정받는다는 것을 입증하는 계기”라며 “국내 SW기업의 해외시장 진출에 큰 영향을 미칠 것”이라고 말했다.
