SEOUL, KOREA - The Lexus New Generation IS is set to land in the Korean market. Toyota Motor announced on June 4 that it will start selling New Generation IS250 that it unveiled first in Korea through the Seoul Motor Show from June 26.
The New Generation IS250 will be available in three varieties—basic model Supreme, prestige model Executive, and sports model F Sport.
Each variety realizes a creative adoption of common design factors—spindle grill and LED DRL. In particular, the new IS creates an elegant style by separating spindle grill from the daytime driving lamp.
The New IS is mounted with state-of-the-art safety device PUH. PUH is a safety device that maximizes the space between hood and engine when the car hit a pedestrian, as well as transforming the hood to absorb the shock that could cause damage to the pedestrian.
The retail price is 47.9 million won for IS 250 Supreme, 55.3 million won for IS 250 Executive, and 53.3 million won for IS 250 F Sport.
