SEOUL, KOREA – LG Display said on Wednesday that its 84 inch UHD display won the Best Picture Quality Technology Award at the 9th China Digital TV Industry Development Forum, held recently in Beijing.
LG Display’s 84 inch UHD display passed a rigorous performance test, conducted by a digital TV standard conformity testing center under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, with flying colors. The LG 84-inch UHD panel was put under the microscope in various evaluation categories including UHD resolution, viewing angle and color accuracy.

LG디스플레이(대표 한상범)는 최근 중국 베이징에서 개최된 `제9회 중국 디지털TV 산업발전 포럼`에서 자사 84인치 초고선명(UHD) 디스플레이가 `최고화질기술상(Best Picture Quality Technology Award)`을 수상했다고 10일 밝혔다.
이번 수상은 중국 전사상회가 공업화신식화부 산하 디지털 TV 표준 적합성 검사 센터에 성능 테스트를 의뢰해 나온 결과다. 84인치 UHD 패널은 시야각, 색정확도, UHD 해상도 구현 등 여러 가지 화질지표에서 우수한 평가를 받았다.
