President Park to Visit Russia and Vietnam in Sept.

SEOUL, KOREA- Korea's President Park Geun-hye will travel to Russia for a G-20 summit in early September, followed by a state visit to Vietnam for four days from the 7th.President Park will begin her Saint Petersburg visit on the 5th with the opening ceremony and reception and attend the first forum on the growth of the world economy and financial stability. On the second day, she will participate in the second discussion session on job growth and investment, followed by a working dinner.

The following day President Park will fly to Vietnamese capital Hanoi to hold a summit meeting with President Truong Tan Sang and discuss issues such as a free trade agreement between the two countries, further cooperation in nuclear power plant building, and ways to strengthen the bilateral relationship.

President Park will also meet other high-ranking Vietnamese officials including Nguyen Phu Trong, the general secretary of the Communist Party, Nguyen Tan Dung, the Prime Minister, and Nguyen Shnh Hung, the Chairman of the National Assembly. She will also visit Ho Chi Minh City in the south to inspect business activities run by Korean companies there.
