SEOUL, KOREA – The Korea Game Awards, which will decide the best game of 2013, will be held on November 13th 5 PM at Busan Cinema Center’s Hanulyeoun Theater. The hosts of the Game Awards announced the candidates on the 4th. The criteria for the 2013 Korean Game Awards were quality, creativity, and popularity.
The candidates for the main prize are qualified for the grand prize, 1st runner-up, and 2nd runner-up. The list of candidates is ‘Archeage’, ‘Magu the Real’, ‘EOS’, ‘YulHulGangHo’, ‘Kritika’, and ‘Kingdom Under Fire Online(Age of Storm)’.
For the Mobile Games ‘Delphina Chronicle’, ‘Dice Venture’, ‘Taming Monsters’, ‘Wind Runner’, ‘Two Down Bases Filled 2013 KBO’, and ‘Cookie Run’ were announced as the final candidates.
The Korea Internet & Digital Entertainment Association will go through a second screening process on the day before the awards including a presentation from the game developers, for the candidates who passed the first screening.
The 2013 Game Awards is divided into two parts, the main awards and popularity awards, and the online poll will also be reflected into judgment. The polls will be accounted for 20% in the main awards, and 80% for the popularity awards. Votes will be taken at the 2013 Korea Game Awards webpage until the coming 7th 7PM.
