HONG KONG - Olivier de Puymorin, President and CEO of Arkadin, one of the world's largest and fastest growing providers of Unified Communications and Collaboration services, announced the appointment of H.R. Shiever to Managing Director, Online Business and member of Arkadin's Executive Committee.
Mr. Shiever will assume a dual role. He will lead a new online collaboration business unit and also lead the global sales engagement and coordination between Arkadin and NTT Communications. NTT Communications acquired Arkadin in January of this year. Mr. Shiever will operate out of Arkadin's Hong Kong office, reporting to Mr. de Puymorin.
"H.R.'s outstanding track record in our industry, and specifically in online collaboration services while in senior leadership positions at Citrix Systems, will add tremendous strategic value to Arkadin," says Mr. de Puymorin. "His knowledge of the online space, coupled with his deep sales and marketing expertise in the Asia Pacific region, will be an asset to our growth ambitions."
Mr. Shiever was most recently Vice President & Managing Director, Asia Pacific for the SaaS Division of Citrix Systems. Since launching the Citrix SaaS Division's Asia Pacific operations in 2004, his leadership resulted in strong, sustainable and scalable transactional businesses which led to significant growth. With over 20 years living and working throughout Asia Pacific with leading technology companies, he has developed a deep understanding of the region's markets and opportunities. He holds a B.S. in Industrial Management and Economics from Carnegie Mellon University.
