The Nutrition Advisory Board is comprised of leading experts from around the world in the fields of nutrition and health who inform, educate and train Herbalife independent members and distributors on the principles of nutrition, physical activity and healthy lifestyle. The board is chaired by David Heber, M.D., Ph.D., Founding Director of the Center for Human Nutrition at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)*.

Lee's appointment further strengthens the Herbalife Nutrition Advisory Board members to 27. The appointment also reflects the expansion of nutrition and health experts from Asia Pacific in the Nutrition Advisory Board who will play a central role in raising public awareness and leading educational programs on balanced nutrition and healthy active lifestyle in 15 countries across the region as part of Herbalife's Asia Pacific Wellness Tour initiative.

Lee is a distinguished professor at the Seoul National University's College of Medicine. He is a member of Korean society of Anatomists, Electron Microscopy society of Korea, Korean society of Immunologists and the American Association of Immunologists. Lee received his Ph.D. in Medicine, Anatomy and his medical degree from the Seoul National UniversityCollege of Medicine.
