SEOUL, KOREA - SPC Group, which runs abakery chain Paris Baguette, announced on November 11 that it will make inroadsinto Malaysia.To this end, thegroup signed a master franchise deal withMalaysia’s Naza Group.
A master franchise contractis a franchising contract in which the owner of the brand name hands over thecontrol of franchising activities in a specific territory to a local person orentity.
Naza Group, which wasfounded as a bakery business, has expanded its business turf toward automobilemanufacturing and sales, real estate and hotels.
An SPC Group officialsaid,“Starting from Malaysia, we will expand our presence in neighboring SoutheastAsian countries, including Indonesia and Thailand gradually.”
