SEOUL KOREA - Korean high-end skincare brand AMORE PACIFIC will open shops at Lane Crawford Harbour City on December 12 and Lane Crawford IFC Mall on December 14, with a view to taking on the Chinese market in earnest. Lane Crawford Harbour City and IFC Mall (the two biggest flagship stores of Hong Kong’s leading specialty store Lane Crawford) are located in the heart of Hong Kong, selling an edited selection of women’s and men’s fashion items from the most desirable luxury fashion brands.
The Hong Kong skincare and cosmetics market, which is fast emerging as a new beauty industry Mecca, is valued at USD 1 billion annually, the largest in Asia. Above all, Lane Crawford Harbour City and IFC Mall are two of Hong Kong’s iconic, must-visit specialty stores, where only a select subset of global designer brands are allowed to show off an assortment of their fashion items.
In the run-up to the scheduled opening of shops at Lane Crawford, AMORE PACIFIC has also seen its major anti-aging skincare product line “Time Response Collection” find favor with Hong Kong consumers. Sales of the Time Response Collection have far exceeded its expectations, further raising the prospect of AMORE PACIFIC’s successful business in Hong Kong.
Meanwhile, in order to thank Hong Kong consumers for their great interest in AMORE PACIFIC products, it is to launch a variety of thank-you events, including its pledge to donate first-year sales of the Time Response Collection to charities.
Continuing to open shops in key commercials areas in China, AMORE PACIFIC plans to ratchet up brand awareness in the Chinese market through various localization-based marketing activities and to beef up its global competitiveness for greater global expansion.
