A string of Korea’s SPA brands are set to make forays into China next year.
Cheil Industries plans to launch the shipments of “8seconds” to China, while Shinwon is scheduled to launch a joint men’s wear SPA brand with a Chinese partner.
E-Land, which launched its own SPA brand in China earlier than others, intends to expand the number of shops there as part of an effort to solidify its leading presence.
According to the fashion industry on June 30, Shinwon plans to join hands with China’s retail and real estate firm Golden Eagle International to launch a men’s wear SPA brand in China early next year.
Shinwon will be responsible for product planning and production, while Golden Eagle will be in charge of retail network operation and sales.
Cheil Industries is also stepping up an effort to launch its SPA 8seconds brand in China. Cheil Industries renovated the brand identity of 8seconds toward being more familiar with Chinese consumers. E-Land plans to expand the number of its Chinese stores up to 130 by the end of this year from the current 92.
