Lotte Group and Busan Creative Economic Reform Center held a talk on adopting the creative economy model for Honduras at the Embassy of Honduras on Tuesday.
This meeting came as Honduras’ president Juan Orlando Hernández visited the center in July on the recommendation of President Park Geun-hye.
On the day the Honduras’ president listened to explanations about the center from Lotte chairman Shin Dong-bin and he said, “The joint efforts between large companies and the government to foster SMEs based on this center is impressive. We hope to learn about more details."
According to the government official, Honduras began to have an interest in the creative economy model such as the center following the meeting and they are set to have a working-level meeting with the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning.
