A 50-seat passenger aircraft will be assigned to a regular flight route linking Yangyang Airport in the east coast with Gimhae International Airport in Busan, starting from January 22. This is the first time in Korea for a 50-seater passenger airplane to be used for regular flight services.
The same passenger jet will also be used for the Yangyang-Jeju route and the Wonju-Gimhae route within the first half of this year. Korea Express Air plans to launch the 50-seater passenger aircraft-using regular flight service between Yangyang and Gimhae on January 22 after holding an inaugural ceremony on January 19 at Yangyang Airport.
Korea Express Air introduces an ERJ-145, a passenger jet manufactured by Embraer, to offer flight services between Yangyang and Gimhae nine round-trips a week. Korea Express also plans to open new routes between Yangyang and Jeju and between Wonju and Gimhae within the first half of this year.
