One of the Korea mobile games based on this trend is in an absolute booming stage providing a lot of exciting game playing time to gamers with its 2D and 3D views. In fact, it is quite a different situation from facts that most of 3D mobile games have been failed so far.
The Gamevil, one of the most famous Korean mobile game developers, announced on Dec 20 that more than 350,000 gamers downloaded its game, Hybrid, since the Gamevil released it on Nov 1. The Hybrid so-called action RPG genre, is a type of fusion oriented game that has 2D characters with 3D environments and highly evaluated in terms of providing excellent pictures with stable game play.
Hybrid has been also, launched on Apple's Apps-store and bringing good results so far. Kim Yong-hun, a team leader of Gamevil, said, "The Hybrid is definitely a well-made mobile game in terms of mixture of 2D characters and 3D environments. As a result of the development of mobile phone's capabilities, we now have better chances to develop and provide higher quality 3D games to gamers."
