SME Networks have created a SD memory card dubbed SmartSD that provides a wide variety of applications such as security for USB data, allowing transport and credit card use.
SME Networks' representative, Kim Tae-sun, made public on January 24 that the company has developed Smart SD memory cards, which is an upgraded version of the former microSD card. The SmartSD is able to protect the users' mobile devices against hackers and can also be used for mass data storage.
SME Network’s SmartSD card represents secure and convenient solutions for many kinds of mobile devices such as smart phones and other portable devices with a microSD card slot. This SmartSD card contains a standard flash memory of mass storage capacity with full security operation. It protects sensitive company data such as network access, company information, e-mails, and other confidential material. It also enables a banking service for smart phones that allows the users to pay bills, transfer money, and access to account information while on the move.
