Hanwha Systems and Baker Hughes GE (BHGE) announced on August 20th to signed a partnership agreement to cooperate on technology and business in manufacturing digital transformation technology
Hanwha Systems merged with Hanwha S&C on August 1st, launching itself as a new corporation, and announced its start as a global solution provider covering the fields of defense and IT services.
Hanwhat Systems ICT division has selected Digital Transformation (DT) as its future strategy business and has actively promoted internalization of core solutions such as Blockchain, AI, and Big Data.
BHGE was created in 2017 by GE’s Oil & Gas division with global oil company Baker Hughes. It is the first company in the world to offer a full stream of state-of-the-art facilities, services and digital solutions for the full range of oil and gas development.
Based on this agreement, Hanwha Systems will be responsible for the expansion of the Digital transformation capabilities, condition monitoring and software performance solution of BHGE’s Bently Nevada, cyber security solution for ‘Enterprise Impact’, and facility Asset Performance Management (APM) Software.
First of all, Hanwha Group plans to promote the efficiency and innovation of the manufacturing industry by providing consulting services for the affiliated companies of Hanwha Group, establishing and operating customized consulting systems, and providing monitoring services.
