SK Telecom announced on October 31 that about 100 teenagers from China, Iran, Vietnam and Uzbekistan who participated in the "ARI Sports Cup" visited the "T.um Mobile" center. The ARI Sports Cup is an inter-Korean youth sports exchange event.
SK Telecom has been operating "T.um Mobile" since October 29 at Songam Sports Town in Chuncheon, where the "ARI Sports Cup" was held, for participants and teenagers to experience ICT.
Since its first exhibition in 2014, "T.um Mobile" has been at the forefront of raising social value by visiting some 250,000 teenagers in 25 regions, both domestic and overseas, and closing the digital divide.
Juvenile athletes experienced coding classes using smart robot "Albert" in "T.um Mobile" and VR hot air balloons that experience future IoT technologies such as weather observation centers and telematics.
They also experienced a program called "Finding My Dreams" where they can experience future careers such as astronauts and robot experts through R/AR.
"'T.um Mobile' has been at the forefront of raising social values, including easing the digital divide among teenagers at home and abroad," said Kim Hee-sup, director of SK Telecom, "We will do our best to foster ICT dream trees by providing opportunities for young people from all over the world to experience ICT."
