HONG KONG, Jan. 14, 2019 -- Shanghai Xiaoi Robot Technology Co. Ltd ("Xiao-i" or the "Company"), a leading developer of artificial intelligence (AI) technology and industry application platforms in China, participated in the 12th Asian Financial Forum hosted by The Government of the Hong Kong SAR and Hong Kong Trade Development Council. This was the first time that the Company had been significantly involved with this prestigious event. During the panel discussion, Mr. Yuan shared the story of Xiao-i and what he had learned from starting the business, as well as views on the outlook for AI in Asia. Mr. Ronnie Chan Chi-chung, Chairman of Hang Lung Properties hosted the session and also participating were other local and overseas industry leaders from the worlds of finance, technology and startups.

Xiao-i also had a booth at the FinTech Showcase, a platform launched by the forum this year for FinTech-related companies to establish new business partnerships. The company took this opportunity to showcase its latest developments and solutions in the areas of smart customer service and smart finance, receiving positive feedback from many industry players and other exhibitors.
Xiao-i established its Asia-Pacific Headquarters and AI+ Experience Center in Hong Kong in November 2018 and was honored to have Mrs. Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong SAR, officiate at the opening ceremony.
