Baskin-Robbins 31 posted an apology on its official SNS on June 29 and said it deleted the commercial video of the "Pink Star" product.
The ad was shot with a kid model named Ella Gross. After criticism continued that Ella Gross, who is only 12 years old, had been sexually targeted, Baskin Robbins 31 removed the image.
"Ella Gross' parents watched the video, and she did a typical children's-model makeup, and she wore a children's-wear brand costume," Baskin Robbins said.
Ella Gross is a member of the "The Black Label," a label under YG Entertainment. Ella Gross, a mixed-race child born to an American father and a Korean mother, is also gaining huge popularity on social networking sites due to her unique atmosphere.
Because of this, she is living in the U.S., but she is working in and out of Korea. She is appearing in various commercials, including fashion pictorials, as well as Baskin Robbins 31.
