More than only metal detectors, CCTV and fingerprints. The Security World expo is about innovations for homeland and urban security. The show includes technology such as iris reading, that was once the stuff of movies. The show has got progressively more high tech each year. Not seen this year was the revolutions in tracking systems for commerce within stores and for the nano marking of pharmaceutical ingredients but some of the distribution channels for them were present.
This year the show was organised by Korea Digital CCTV Reserch Association, Infothe Co., Ltd. K.Fairs Ltd. and the Korea CCTV Industry Cooperative. The show is intended for government purchasers, security personnel, building managers and designers, researchers and consulting personnel. The show runs until the 18th June on the first floor of the Coex.
