The "TLC teen school," developed by Taejeon Group for teenagers, has been adopted as a regular curriculum for the public Meister High School for the first time.
Taejeon Group (vice chairman Oh Young-seok) said on Oct. 11 that its mentoring program "TLC Teen School" has been adopted as a regular class at Seoul Robot High School.
The TLC teen school is designed to provide scientific geniuses with the opportunity to recognize IT trends and learn how to do good, and explore the career path and aptitude for future-oriented occupational groups.
TLC, which is joined by TAEJEON Group affiliates such as TAEJEON Pharm(태전약품판매), TJ Pharm(티제이팜), O&K(오엔케이), AOK(에이오케이) and TJHC(티제이에이치시), will be operated as IT Trend Special Lecture in 6th and 7th classes and will be conducted annually for 1st and 2nd graders.
"In the past, carer education was mainly about students' simple experience focusing on field trips," said Shin Sang-yeol, principal of Seoul Robot High School. "Starting this year, we are communicating with our corporate field mentors with the aim of fostering a social innovator for teenagers. We will continue to introduce educational models in the form of internships that receive mentoring."
For more than a decade, Taejeon Group has been running a TLC career experience program for college students of pharmacology across the country. In particular, it has received positive responses as it has developed and operated its own career talk show centered on mentors in the field, inviting senior pharmaceutical industry officials to give practical help to startups along with special lectures by experts in various fields of society.
TAEJEON Group will apply such pharmacology student career education systems and know-how to public Meister High School and school sites to provide practical opportunities for teenagers to gain the knowledge and experience needed for career and career choices.
"TLC teen school is a comprehensive career internship that TAEJEON Group and public Meister High School have set up together to help young people find their dreams," said Oh Young-seok, vice chairman of TAEJEON Group. "The purpose of this education is not to pursue material interests, but to help us design our course with pleasure and curiosity."
Meanwhile, Taejeon Group, established in 1935, is a first-generation drug wholesaler and leads the drug distribution market by establishing advanced logistics facilities.
