Daelim Industrial said on March 3 that its high-end residential brand "ACRO" has won the Branding Main Award in the communication section of the world's most prestigious International Forum (iF) Design Awards 2020. It is the first of its kind in Korea as a high-end residential brand.
The "iF Design Awards" are considered one of the world's top three design awards along with the "IDEA Design Awards" in the United States and the "Red Dot Design Awards" in Germany.
The iF International Forum Design, the world's longest-running independent design agency, will evaluate design, innovation and functionality in a total of seven categories -- product, package, communication, concept, service design, interior and architecture -- to determine the winning piece.
This year's iF Design Awards 2020 received 7,300 works from a total of 56 countries. The final winner was selected after a review by a panel of 78 experts from each country.
In November last year, Daelim declared ACRO as an integrated brand renewal that reflects a new concept "The Only One" featuring differentiated values. The new ACRO is oriented toward a residential brand that offers the best quality of life with the best and only, absolute value.
To this end, the company has completed the establishment of a sophisticated brand identity system as well as the direction of its business strategy. The newly renewed ACRO's BI received excellent reviews in that it delivered a stable and solid image by emphasizing the unrivaled value of existence based on modern minimalist aesthetics focused on substance, solidifying the status of the high-end residential brand.
"ACRO, a symbol of Korea's leading high-end residential brand, has become internationally recognized for its brand value," said a Daelim Industrial official. "From now on, we will present the best housing standards that reflect high-end lifestyle needs for everything from the true definition of the highest level of residential value to location, technology, quality, service and design."
