Last week, Farmville, a popular Facebook game, was launched into a mobile application for Apple's iPhone and iPod Touch. Farmville was created by Zynga and has over 70 million active monthly players on Facebook.
Farmville is Facebook's most popular game and it is now available on your Apple devices. However, it's still linked to Facebook, which means a user must sign into their Facebook account to play.
This launch isn't specifically to further expand it's game to widespread users, but to allow current users to play it at a more accessible and efficient manner.
Farmville is a game that allows it's users to create working farms with the assistance of virtual goods such as tractors, animals and scarecrows. In the game, you are able to buy "farm cash" and "farm coins" that range from 5-50 USD. However, the average amount a user spends is about 15-20 cents weekly.
