SK Telecom and Samsung agreed to work together for the domestic mobile internet content industry. On July 13, both companies will invest KRW 25 billion each and build an OIC (Open Innovation Center) to support the mobile content creators in Korea.
OIC assists all the process for mobile contents creators from planing, development, marketing, to start-up a related business.
SK Telecom and Samsung will hold an android contents development competition for Smartphone and tablet PCs and they plan to co-develop killer applications and content based on a varietal platform.
Also, they will continue to gather excellent content developers. An official from SK Telecom said "Samsung and SK Telecom will cooperate positively for the development of domestic mobile contents industry."
