At the press conference at Apple on Friday, Steve Jobs apologized to the customers and promised to provide a free case with every purchase of iPhone 4. But, not everything is cool.
It is reported that some of the words Mr. Job mentioned at the press conference offended other phone providers, RIM (Research In Motion), Motorola and others.
In the middle of an explanation about the antenna problem, Mr. Jobs said that it was not the only problem Apple has, the rest of the industry has the same issues of reception, dropping calls if gripped on the side in poor signal areas. Mr. Jobs even demonstrated antenna issues on phones from RIM, Motorola and HTC.
About that, RIM's response that RIM's customers don't need to use a case for their BlackBerry to maintain proper connectivity showing their displease feelings.
Meanwhile, iPhone 4 doesn't look like it is showing up in July, in Korea. It was supposed to come out at the end of July in Korea. The reason for delay is cited as the radio certification, but Apple or KT have not officially explained why the application for radio certification proceeded late. Apparently Korean customers can not do anything but wait.
