Media are praising LG Electronics' "LG Velvet," which was unveiled on June 16.
"When it comes to video recording, we have the same sharp imagery, vivid colors, and high dynamic range as with photos," said the IT media PhoneArena. "LG Velvet is also able to isolate sound-when you zoom in, it'll boost the gain for its main microphone and use noise cancellation to try and silence any background interference. Good for vlogging or recording performances"
"Despite the one of teh thinnest smartphones ever used (7.9mm), but it was still able to fit a fairly sizable 4,300mAh cell in this device," said the Android Authority. "It has implemented a thin design while applying a large battery."
"LG Velvet reminds me of Bentley's Verdant Green," said the Digital Trends. "when you get it in the sun, it shimmers and shines. Like the Motorola Edge, the LG Velvet is fast enough for everyday use. It doesn’t get hot, it plays casual games without a problem, and does everything I wanted without fuss."
LG Electronics applied 'optical pattern' at intervals of less than 1μm, which is about one-hundredth of the thickness of hair, under the back glass of LG Velvet, to express the color more deeply and three-dimensional.
In particular, the "Illusion Sunset" has completed its attractive color by attaching a "nano-stacked" film that has hundreds of layers of nanomaterials in addition to optical patterns.
LG Velvet is also equipped with a full-vision display with a 6.8-inch P-OLED-based 20.5:9 screen ratio to realize a highly immersive viewing environment.
"Considering COVID-19, we will actively utilize untact marketing to effectively deliver LG Velvet's features to our customers," said Jung Soo-hun, vice president of LG Electronics' MC Overseas Sales Group.
