Nation's largest game trade show, G-Star 2010, was held on November 18 for four days at Bexco in Busan. This annual exhibition has gotten bigger and better. More than 300 companies from 22 nations participated in G-Star bringing together online, mobile, video and social game makers as well as gaming fans.
The exhibition showed a variety of games which ranged from popular PC games to up-and-coming players in the emerging mobile and social games market. It is the place to see dynamic scenes of the gaming industry from home and abroad.
The world's leading developers and publishers such as Hangmae, NCSoft, Blizzard Entertainment and others showcased their latest game in the exhibition. Fans were happy to have a chance to experience it firsthand. It must be paradise for them to be flooded with new dynamic games.As social games have risen as a new facet of the gaming industry, G-Star hosted a special Social Network Games Seminar on November 19. Industry experts from major players, including Playfish and PlayDom discussed various topics about the strategies for social gaming growth in Asia and others.
G-Start 2010 also offers various industry events during the four day show. From November 18 to 19, the International Content Creator's Conference will be held and the 2nd Korea-China Game Culture Festival will be hosted from November 18 to 21.
