SEOUL, KOREA - LG Electronics announced on June 2 that it released in the Middle East its brand-new air-conditioner model "Titan Big 2" that provides cooling even in a hot climate with high temperature of 60 degrees Celsius.
This air-conditioner is mounted with a tropical compressor that can endure high temperature of over 60 degrees. The air-conditioner, accordingly, can run without halts even in a hot climate as the tropical compressor reduces the excessive pressure on the compressor caused by hot temperature.
Its motor boasts two times stronger performance than those in the same class, with its ultra-large cooling fan "Skew Fan" blowing wind up to 20 meters per second. The Titan Big 2 is also primed with an air purification feature that ensures fast removal of cigarette smoke and fine dust.
The Titan Big 2 is developed based on LG's long-accumulated research on the Middle East's climate and environment, plus the living habits of local consumers. The model targets the Middle Eastern air-conditioner market whose annual size reaches up to US$2.3 billion.
