The DW 3000H, with a dimension of 122.5 meters in length and 14.4 meters in width, with a load displacement of 3,650 tons, is to be completed and delivered by August 2018. It will be equipped with stealth functions that can escape radar and sonar detection, as well as anti-submarine warfare capabilities.

 

The shipbuilder is also in talks with the Thai government to develop a combat management system compatible with that of conventional Thai battleships in response to possible open sea disputes surrounding energy resources. DSME president Koh said, "Based on the world-class shipbuilding expertise and know-how we have, we will accelerate the export volume in defense area, one of the most promising future growth engines."
