SEOUL, KOREA- Hyundai Motor held a media preview in advance of the launch of its new Genesis at its Namyang Research Center on October 24. New Genesis is scheduled to be released at the end of this year.The New Genesis features a drastic change in frame structure toward improving collision performance by strengthening the strength of the frame.
To strengthen the frame, Hyundai Motor applied hot stamping and dual sectional structure for front side, improved the structure of rear and center floor, and expanded the use of ultra-high tensile strength steels and structural adhesives.
The New Genesis is also mounted with the latest all-time 4W drive AWD (All Wheel Drive) system HTRAC. HTRAC is a cutting-edge drive system that electronically controls the distribution of power for the front and rear drive axis depending on road conditions.
