‘2014 G-FAIR KOREA’ is magnificently opened as the country’s largest exhibition for small and medium-sized enterprises and provides showcase to see the excellent products of them in one place.
According to the Gyeonggi Small Business Center (GSBC) and Gyeonggi-do Provincial Government, the opening ceremony of ‘2014 G-FAIR KOREA’ is started at 1st Exhibition hall in KINTEX of Goyang city on Oct. 1.
This 17th exhibition is opened by Gyeonggi-do Provincial Government and Small&Medium Business Center Association(SMBCA) and GSBC is a host.
At the opening ceremony, there are about 200 participants of minister of administration 2nd Dept., and assemblymen of Gyeonggi-do and members of KOTRA((Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency), SMBCA, and GSBC.
Kim, Hee-Gyoum , minister of administration 2nd Dept. of Gyeonggi-do had a speech at the opening ceremony “A survival of small-sized enterprises makes a projection of creation of 700000 job possible” and “‘The small business can find a market over Korea and world and contribute to create job through 2014 G-FAIR KOREA.”
Yoon, Suk-Sung, ceo of Queen Art Corp., who joins with G-FAIR KOREA for six years now told “I last a trade with Vietnam buyer who I met at G-FAIR KOREA 3 years ago” and “ It’s a good chance to find a market trend and obtain practical results this year”.
At this exhibition, total 836 companies and 1,102 booths display about 20,000 of excellent products involving household goods, appliances, electronics, IT products, fashion, beauty, leisure, gifts and provide spectators with a opportunity to experience them.
Attendance of 500 overseas buyers from 40 nations
Also, exports business meetings will be opened to draw practical business results for participating business at G-FAIR KOREA between Oct. 1 and Oct. 2 after inviting buyers from domestic and abroad.
500 people from 40 different countries as abroad buyers of 140 from China, 34 from Japan, 161 from Asia and Arab, 41 from North America, 33 from Russia & CIS, 19 from Europe, take part in the exhibition. They are buyers verified by network of GBC(Gyeonggi Business Center), KOTRA, and World Federation of OKTA(Overseas Korean Trades Associations) .
Around 400 purchasing agents including Inter-park, G market, Auction, LOTTE Home-shopping, Home and Shopping, NS Home-shopping, LOTTE Mart, E-Land Retail, Hanaro Club&Mart, Diaso, Labor Welfare Association, Korea Regional Heating Ltd, Doosan Construction, Samsung d, LG U+, KT Commerce will take part.
The exhibition is going to be held for the mutual benefit of large and medium sized companies.
From the 1st to the 3rd of October, seminars for medium&small-sized companies will be held. The topics will range from incorporating to entry into markets overseas, and will be presented by university professors, successful entrepreneurs and professionals of GSBC, KOTRA, and government office.
In addition, there will also be many performances for the holiday enjoyable to the whole family.
In the exhibition, large performances by K-pop dance teams, B-Boy bands, magicians and traditional musicians will take place throughout the duration of the whole event for the enjoyment of the family. Around 40 000 prizes such as an LED screen TV, a kimchi refrigerator and a Chevrolet Spark will be awarded through the event as well.
Entrance to G-FAIR KOREA is free and visitors will have the privilege of purchasing the great products offered by the participating companies 30% off.
