MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA - Mobiliya, an AgreeYa Mobility company, today announced the debut of state-of-the-art smartphones to the Indian market in partnership with Wham! Mobiles, an emerging leader in the delivery of innovative and cost-effective feature phones, smartphones and tablets.
These newly-launched smartphones offer exclusive features -- including antitheft protection, parental control, location tracking and child mode, amongst others. Powered by dual-core 1.2 GHz mobile processors and equipped with built-in 4G memory, the new devices also boast a strong battery life and 4-/5-inch AMOLED (active-matrix organic light-emitting diode) displays.

Features available on the new Wiry W1, WK41, WD38 and the WK44 Wham! devices include Anti Theft, a safety-net feature enabling precise location and control of lost or stolen phones, which provides capability to access the device, retrieve information and subsequently lock or wipe the device clean; Child Mode enables free, fun and safe browsing for children, giving parents peace of mind and privacy protection with its childproof, yet child-friendly controls; and Map Me, a geo-location app that tracks the location of loved ones. The Wham! devices also allow users to challenge friends on-the-go with a virtual single- and multi-player puzzle game, Picture It.

The Wham! devices include 5-megapixel, fixed-focus cameras, 640x360 pixel resolution using One Glass Solution and IPS (In-Plane Switching) technology that makes images crystal clear and run the latest Android flavor, with 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity options. The devices were developed as a result of the emerging need for affordable smartphones and targeted to the middle and lower socio-economic segment. The Wiry W1, WK41, WD38 and WK44 are all now available through all major retail channels in India.
