SEOUL, KOREA - Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors are showcasing a string of brand-new models developed to target the North American market at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show which opened at the LA Convention Center on November 19.
Hyundai Motor plans to highlight its new Sonata lineups which it started selling from June, at the auto show, aimed at giving a boost to new Sonata sales in North America.
The Sonata lineups Hyundai Motor is selling in North America include 2.4-liter, and 2.0-liter turbo, and 1.6-liter Eco which is mounted with a four-cylinder gasoline turbocharger engine and a dual clutch transmission (DCT).
Hyundai Motor also displays the 2G Genesis which it showed off at the Detroit Motor Show in January, aimed at making bigger forays into the U.S. premium car market.
During the LA Auto Show period, Hyundai Motor is also taking part in the Connected Car Expo where it displays new Sonata that is applied with Apple’s CarPlay and Google’s Android Auto.Kia Motors will showcase All New Sorento which will be sold in North America from early next year.
