Green Cross MS (http://www.greencrossms.com) announced that it reached the sales of 81.3 billion KRW and the operating profit of 4.4 billion KRW, 31.2 percent and 59.0 percent up from the previous year, respectively.
Along with this, net profit was reported to record 3.7 billion KRW, 70.7 percent up compared to the last year.
“Our whole business units including diagnosis reagent and blood bags showed balanced growth. The added sales in medical device and a new business like blood dialysate increased the annual revenue 30 percent,” Green Cross MS said, “Due to the development of new markets for blood bags in Iran and Indonesia, export increased 32 percent up to 11.9 billion KRW.”
At the last quarter, Green Cross MS enjoys affirmative responses from the market by launching a diagnostic kit to check four kinds of multi-influenza for the first time in the world in cooperation with governmental project team for novel influenza which is part of the research and development project in the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
Green Cross MS expected that its sales growth will be continued this year. In particular, it prospects that its y-o-y sales will be increased almost 20 percent thanks to the expansion of export into Russia, the Middle East and the U.S.
