Auto parts maker Mando is running a VIP tour program in which customers are given the opportunity to tour the Palace of Versailles (or simply Versailles) on the Mando Footloose chainless e-bike.
By allowing customers to take a tour of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Mando aims to set a new tourism trend and take on the European market.
Versailles, one of France's foremost tourist attractions, houses the Hall of Mirrors, the King’s chamber, the Latona Fountain in the Gardens of Versailles, the Fountain of Apollo and the Grand Canal.
The tour program, named ‘Versailles Mando VIP e-bike Tour,’ was launched in mid April and online booking will start in early May.
Customers have to pay 35 euros for a one-hour tour and 55 euros for a two-hour tour. While listening to a professional tour guide, participants can ride a bike around famous tourist attractions such as the Grand Canal, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Grand Trianon, the Petit Trianon, the Queen's Hamlet, etc.
A Mando official said: “This program is a high-quality sightseeing program that features an eco-friendly bike ride. This program will promote the Mando Footloose, which differentiates itself from others by presenting its premium design.
Those who are interested in the VIP tour program can make an online reservation through the website of Versailles (www.chateauversailles.fr) starting early May.
