People's Daily Online, Beijing, quoted a statement from Qin Gang, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman about the Sino-American relations, "China urges the US to take China's position seriously, correct its mistakes, undo the serious damage done and take concrete measures to uphold the healthy and sound development of China-US relations."
Recently, due to reasons such as US announcing the sale of arms to Taiwan and US leader's meeting with Dalai Lama, China-US relations have been severely undermined. This is what China doesn't want to see and the responsibility goes completely to the US side.
