China's Air-to-Air Missile is the Same Technological Generation as that of America

Fan Huitao, chief designer of China Airborne Missile Academy, was interviewed by China News on March 4. Fan Huitao expressed, "The capability and accuracy rate of China's air-to-air missiles has entered the same technological generation as that of America."
An air-to-air missile indicates the status of the defense industry of a country. A state needs to gather its scientific power to make an air-to-air missile. There are a few countries that can make this kind of missile and America is leading the way; its technology has entered into the fourth generation. Now, China has entered a new phase of missile technology, which is comparable to U.S.
On the 60th National Day Armed Forces Review, last year, a fighter aircraft with the fourth generation missile flew over Tiananmen Square. This was the first time China showed the missile to the world.
