According to Nanfang Daily, China, this year is going to be a turning point for the relations between China and Japan. Some Japanese sinologist's say, China overtaking Japan to become the world's second-biggest economy is to be expected and is not a miracle. However, this has caused Japanese people to feel at a loss.

One expert said, "In 1990s, the bubble burst so dramatically that the Japan needed to depend on America for national security. Today, Japan's economy is dependent on China, and Japan has not adapted itself to the situation."
