Kim Hyung, the new president of Daewoo Engineering & Construction, has officially taken office.
At the inauguration ceremony held at Kumho Art Hall in Gwanghwamun, Seoul on Wednesday, President Kim Hyung said, "we will manage risks in the course of worsening construction environment to secure profitability and establish an efficient management system."
" We will solve the problem at the company level and find and improve the worsening profitability with outside help, if necessary, " Kim said. He also announced his plan to find high-quality projects through long-term market analysis for overseas business.
Kim joined Hyundai Engineering & Construction in 1978 and served as the head of the port construction site in Sri Lanka, the Civil business manager of the Samsung C&T and the director of the POSCO E&C's global infrastructure division.
