Hyundai Construction Equipment presented a blueprint for expanding the North American market by introducing cutting-edge technologies at the "Conexpo 2020," the largest construction equipment exhibition in North America.
Hyundai Construction Equipment said it has prepared a 2,600 square meter large exhibition hall at the event held in Las Vegas from March 10 to 14 on local time and display 22 next-generation equipment, including new models for excavators and wheel loaders.
In particular, the company gained the attention of visitors when it unveiled a series of new technologies to be applied to next-generation construction equipment.
Among them, it received favorable reviews for remotely controlling wheel loaders in Georgia, about 3,400 kilometers from the exhibition hall, and for demonstrating excavators that are applied with machine control and tilt-rotating technology that maximizes the rotational power of the buckets.
"The exhibition is a place where we can see the technology and market trends of construction equipment not only in North America but also around the world," said Kang Myung-shik, president of the Atlanta corporation of Hyundai Construction Equipment. "We will introduce our cutting-edge technologies to global markets, communicate with customers and industries, and actively expand the market."
Meanwhile, the Conexpo is one of the world's top three construction equipment exhibitions, along with Germany's Bauma and France's Intermat, and about 2,500 companies from around the world are participating until March 14.
