Minnesota, USA –November 28, 2011 – For all the shopaholics and gift givers out there –including me – Cyber Monday is the perfect day to do shopping because it’s online, so there’s no frustration or chance of injury; but that didn’t stop the usual flocks of U.S. consumers from hitting the stores on Black Friday. Reports state that the sales versus last year are up for Black Friday –figures for online buying that day increased 26% compared to last year. Although it is currently Cyber Monday, it’s predicted that the sales for today will also rise significantly compared to previous years.

The best part of online shopping is that it is available for everyone; it is significantly better if the retailers or sellers offer international shipping. The websites offering the ‘big deals’ include Amazon –which is composed of multiple sellers – Walmart, Target, eBay, and other popular sellers. It is wise to pay close attention to the sellers on sites such as eBay because there will be special deals throughout the day that may offer international shipping. If you are in Korea or somewhere outside of the U.S., this is an opportunity you do not want to miss!

For smart ‘Cyber Monday’ shopping –or any day shopping – you should use a site that has a deal aggregated like Shop.org. Instead of spending too much time comparing deals on other sites, it does the work for you –for the most part. It compares prices and other criteria on the major websites that are used the most often. If you plan to buy from a site that is not as known, it’s possible that it will not be included within the search. However, it is still a good idea to use this tool to ensure that you have the best deals for the products that you want.

On top of this, you should visit a review site such as consumersearch.com so that you have an accurate understanding of the experiences those other consumers had on the products you are considering; consumersearch.com compiles reviews from multiple sources such as retailer, news, and popular shopping websites.

If you have a shopping weakness and buy nearly everything you see, you should consider stopping by a site such as Decide.com to help you make your buying decision –avoid the ‘happy finger’ that makes your credit card bills unhappy.

It’s important to also realize that the prices today may not be the lowest prices for some products, so sometimes it could be smart to ‘wait’. Then again, some products might sell out and there will be no deals left for them at all. Happy Shopping!
