Amore Pacific Group is expanding its business in Oceania by launching luxury brands AMOREPACIFIC simultaneously in Australia and New Zealand.
AMOREPACIFIC, a brand with the same name, entered 44 MECCA Cosmetica offline stores and two online malls across Australia and New Zealand on October 3.
In the beauty distribution channel MECCA, which represents Australia, MECCA Cosmetica is known to be a popular store for luxury brand consumers.
AMOREPACIFIC is introducing high-end products that have deep technical skills of Amore Pacific Group based on skin care products that are grown directly from Jeju's stone tea fields.
Due to these characteristics, it is considered to be the best-suited brand in the Oceania Luxury Beauty market, which has a high level of interest in cosmetics and high per capita cosmetics consumption.
The company plans to approach its Australian and New Zealand customers based on its flagship products such as Time Response Skin Reserve Cream and Vintage Single Extract Essence.
According to a market research firm EuroMonitor, Oceania's beauty market is expected to grow faster in the luxury skin care category.
Also, consumers in Oceania who prefer healthy skin and natural make-up due to the strong climate of ultraviolet rays are known to be very interested in luxury skin care.
Amore Pacific Group has been analyzing the cosmetics market and consumers of Oceania for years to see if they have entered the market. And Amore Pacific Group, which established an Australian corporation earlier this year, is quickly coming to Oceania by launching the Innisfree in March and AMOREPACIFIC in October.
"We are very happy to introduce AMOREPACIFIC, a brand that combines the beauty philosophy and technology of Amore Pacific Group, to Australian and New Zealand customers," Australian corporate director Caroline Dunlop said.
"I hope that the diverse brands of AmorePacific will help many customers in Oceania feel the essence of Asian Beauty," he said.
