The Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co. visited Spain with 18 cooperative small and medium-sized companies to open a market for various energy and equipment products, including nuclear power plants, thermal power and renewable energy.
On May 21, the Spanish market opening group visited ENSA, a design, procurement and construction company located in Spain and hold a purchase consultation meeting between Korean and Spanish companies.
On May 22, it hosted a seminar on nuclear power plants with the Spanish Nuclear Association to introduce participating companies and promote South Korea's excellent equipment and technology.
Spain is Europe's leading nuclear power plant operator, which operates seven nuclear power plants. There are large global EPC companies, which are considered a market with a high chance of entry in various power generation areas, including nuclear power.
"The KHNP will actively seek to help the nuclear power industry make a winning streak in overseas markets," a KHNP official said.
