SEOUL, KOREA - Samsung Display announced on December 11 that it reshuffled its organization to integrate OLED division with LCD division.
A Samsung Display official said, “To respond to the rapidly changing market environment, as well as to proactively cope with the changes in management environment, we decided to shift toward an integrated system.”
Samsung Display was founded in July 2012 through a merger between Samsung Electronics’ LCD division and Samsung Mobile Display. Samsung Display plans to focus on realizing organic integration between the different units—OLED and LCD.
